Restoration

ABSTRACT:‍ From a 1958 home, to a my father’s first car. I appreciate bringing life back into things that just need a little TLC. I enjoy honoring the soul of the space or item, and breathing some thoughtful life back into the project.

ASSOCIATED SKILLS: Attention to detail, project managment, targeted research, problem solving, resourcefulness, and collaboration.

PROJECTS:

This project was a complete remodel of this Mid Century Modern styled home. Much of the styling was intended to keep the mid century charm while still getting a modern update. Some items such as the original metal cabinets were even refurbished to be reused in the laundry room as well as garage.

This ‘68 Mustang Convertible was my Dad’s first car that he bought back in 1977. He and I brought it to safe driving condition back between 2005 & 2006 while I was in High School, but the years since then have shown just how much more needed attention. After my father gifted me the title some years ago, I decided since I now had the time and energy, that I would bring the car back to life a second time. These days you can find me cruising the foothills around Boise, ID and attending cars and coffee events. I now look forward to another 20+ years of enjoying this valued piece of my adolescence.
